I'm a USAF veteran, and a motor vehicle accident while I was on active duty left me with a traumatic brain injury,(TBI), that turned into decades of PTSD, anxiety, and depression. Before I came to treatment to work with Garyth and Blair I felt like life was a secret that nobody ever let me in on. The gift of life, was just something I did not have access to and could not feel in my body. I had been down the road of self improvement, doctors, pills, treatments, therapy, and introspection for 17 years diligently trying to make this world make sense to me. Nothing worked. I had started to give up, I was at the end of my rope, deeply troubled, and mentally very unwell, I had nothing but questions that left me with more questions, hated myself, and felt lost in the world. I had given up hope. Blair and Garyth accepted me into treatment, were attentive, kind, detailed, wise, thorough, caring, professional, patient, and acted with years of expertise and knowledge to intentionally facilitate, practice, and create what would become the most formative, impactful experience of my entire life, and it's only something that they could do. I would not trust my care with anyone else, from their doctors, to their nurses, to the way they communicate and run their practice and business, these people are unflappable and operate with the highest levels of integrity and love you could possibly imagine, they will protect you from yourself, from others, from things and ideas and habits you did not even know you needed protection from, all while holding the space, you will rebuild yourself from the inside out, trust the process, trust the people, sit with the medicine. But please do not mistake my words, this is your experience, you are responsible for your own change, you are responsible to change your life if it is to happen at all, do not for a second take for granted a single thing they say, everything is a lesson, a teaching, humble yourself and follow direction down to the very last detail and take nothing lightly, it's incredibly important, and you must be honest, do not keep secrets, tell the truth. Make sure you to take time to prepare, make sure you take time to integrate, whatever you put into this before and after, is what you will get out of it, and that is not on inner realms, that work is on you, and please, please, be nice to Blair and Garyth and all of the staff and everyone involved, it takes such an insane amount of work, and effort to be able to do what they do, we have to protect this sacred place and these sacred people...They are changing the world, they most certainly changed mine. Today I look forward to seeing people, I love myself, I am not ashamed of my story, and I see my place in the world, I know my purpose and it's many parts, and I know I am supposed to bring people to this medicine and spread the word, my art is transformed, my inner dialogue is transformed, I can breathe again, I could go on and on, but today, I am a love machine, and everyone around me can tell, they can see it, and I can see myself and my future, the medicine showed me many great things. I am at peace with my life, and being an incredibly tough nut to crack coming in, that's saying a lot about these people, this place, the practice, the work, and the medicine. But YOU have to put your whole heart and soul into this for it to work for you, and that is something you cannot fake, and I am so proud of myself I did.
